EPISODE 4: Personal and Professional Vision

with Keith and Brandon.

THE BIZ BODY COLLECTIVE

In this episode, we present exercises that help you align in you own personal and professional vision.  If you are anything like me, focusing on creating a vision seemed like just another thing to do.

As if I didn't have enough on my plate to begin with.

That is when I realized that having a starting point to give me insight on my decisions was mandatory if I wanted to progress in the next three years.  I had to ask myself, just like the important question from the book "The One Big Thing," what actions or decisions today can make all other decisions easier or unnecessary?

Understanding how you communicate, what brings purpose to your life, and where you want to take your business in a specific time frame, can save you time, frustration, and sometimes relationships with ones that we love.

I hope you enjoy the episode.  If you do, we appreciate you mentioning the podcast in passing to others, sharing it on social media, or leaving a review on iTunes.

Gratefully,

Keith

Season 1 Episode 3: Greg Roskopf - Creating and Growing a Practice and Educational Business

May 14, 2017 by Keith Shimon in Interviews, Education, Team Building
THE BIZ BODYCOLLECTIVE

Greg Roskopf shares his experience creating a company, one lesson at a time.

Most practitioners go to school, gain some experience under a mentor, and model their practice after those that came before them.  Then their are others that try to break that mold, because it never fit them to begin with.

Got a  business plan?  Nope.

Know what your curriculum looks like?  Not until the binder is created for the next class.

Greg uses "just in time" learning, hiring, and content creation, to put constraints on time and deliver his best work.  When you believe in what you are creating, you can get lost in the journey.

We discuss his vision of MAT, and who helps him make that vision a reality.
